public enum CreatureAnimationState extends Enum<CreatureAnimationState>

Represents the different animation states for a creature in the game.

The CreatureAnimationState enum defines three states:

  • IDLE - The creature is idle and not moving.
  • MOVE - The creature is moving.
  • DEAD - The creature is dead.

Each state is associated with a sprite string, which is derived from the name of the state in lowercase.

      Retrieves the sprite string associated with this animation state.
      Returns:
      the sprite string for this state
    • getOpposite

      public CreatureAnimationState getOpposite()

      Gets the opposite animation state for this state.

      If the current state is IDLE, the opposite is MOVE. Otherwise, the opposite is IDLE.

      Returns:
      the opposite animation state
